Medexim INCO2

The INCO2 – KBX unit´s components are as follows: the solitary equipment ( control unit), the applicator, pedal-operated switch, the source of line voltage, and the polyurethane hose with a reduction for the connection of the device with a medical gas CO2 supply from the steel bottle. The control unit is installed in an aluminum box with plastic side frames, which ergonomic design guarantees good stability on the operating surface and very comfortable access to all control and connecting elements of the device. The optimal slope of the frontal desk, the intelligible graphic, the dimension, and the brightness of the LED display enable the easy and transparent manipulation with the device while adjusting the applicable dose. The operating desk contains no mechanical switch components and the parameter adjusting performs only through light touching of signs (+, -). It helps to eliminate the potential failure and keeps the device in a good hygienic condition because of no rifts on the surface. The applicator´s holder is placed on the right side of the control desk, which shape guarantees the comfortable inserting, withdrawal and hinders the spontaneous dropping out as well. On the backside of the device, the cover has placed the connector of the line voltage source, power switch, quick-acting coupling for a connecting hose of the CO2 source, and the hose´s outgoing feeder for an applicator. The applicator´s shape fits very comfortably the right- and the left-handers as well. At the top above of applicators, the spike is situated the operating button and its compression causes through a microswitch impulse the release of the adjusted CO2 dose. The applicator’s spike is made of stainless steel.

Medexim Spraying Desk Aquabela

Scottish showers are a very radical, strongly stimulating, and irritating procedure, based on the contrast application of cold and warmth. It is applied using the water flow from the jet with pressure 3 atm, from the 3 – 4 m distance. The shower starts with 38° – 42°C water applied for 30 seconds, followed by the shower with 16° – 18°C water applied for 5 – 10 seconds.

The shower is repeated several times, first in the area of upper and lower extremities, then on the torso and belly (following the course of the large intestine), always from the frontal as well as the rear side.

Aquabela – this is a trading name for a sprayer desk used for organism stimulation by regulated jets of warm and cold water. Ergonomically shaped hand nozzles – guns – are tailored to the application of water jet in a spot or fan shape that can be rotated by 90˚. Regulation and stable value of selected temperatures are provided by mixing thermal valves. The deck may be equipped with a valve enabling an immediate switching from warm to cold water at the left nozzle and thus apply Kneipp´s method (Aquabela 2). Aquabela 3 model has extra valves for control of auxiliary devices, such as sit or “chapel shower”. A must are pressure gauges and thermometers for the measurement of supply pressure and temperature of the water coming out from the nozzles. The desk may be made in a wide color variety too, according to the requirement of a customer.

Evolutis Stemsys Mi

The design of the Stemsys femoral implant is based on the geometry of the conventional Stemsys.

The length of each size has been reduced by about 25% and the volume at the superolateral angle was milled down to facilitate the preparation and the implantation of the stem beneath the greater trochanter.

The Stemsys Mi implant is indicated in cementless arthroplasties of the hip when associated with a minimally invasive surgical -anterior or posterior- approach.
